Commissioned in 2020, Indy High BTU is the largest renewable natural gas plant in Indiana, USA. The plant converts landfill gas from the South Side Landfill into 800,000 mmBtu of pipeline-quality RNG each year, which when used in transport, displaces about 8 million gallons of diesel.

UPCOMING LANDFILL TO RNG PLANTS TO PRODUCE 4 BCF
In September 2021, Kinetrex Energy announced the start of construction activitie on three renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities in Indiana. Upon completion, the total annual renewable natural gas production from all facilities is estimated to be more than 4 billion cubic feet (Bcf).
Autumn Hills Compression Station is located on 5 acres of land in Zeeland Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, adjacent to Waste Management of Michigan’s Autumn Hills Landfill. The Compression Station is designed to compress & process 4,000 Standard Cubic Feet of Gas per minute (SCFM). The Landfill gas is generated naturally when organic waste in Autumn Hills landfill decomposes. The Autumn Hills Compression Station was constructed in 2004.
