Richard D. Kinder
Executive Chairman
Richard D. Kinder is the Executive Chairman of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. He is also a member of the company’s Office of the Chairman.

Mr. Kinder is a co-founder of Kinder Morgan, which was formed in February 1997. Mr. Kinder is responsible for developing and executing the company's vision and strategy and allocating capital to Kinder Morgan business units in a disciplined manner. Under his leadership, Kinder Morgan has grown from a small company with 175 employees and an enterprise value of $325 million to a corporation with approximately 11,000 employees. He receives a salary of $1 a year and owns approximately 11 percent of Kinder Morgan.

Kinder Morgan is one of Fortune magazine's Most Admired Companies in America and was previously recognized as the top company among all industries for "Quality of Management." Mr. Kinder is a past recipient of Morningstar's CEO of the Year award.

Mr. Kinder received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Missouri and served in Vietnam as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He has served on numerous corporate and non-profit boards and is a life trustee and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
 
Kimberly Allen Dang
Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Dang is the Chief Executive Officer of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. She is also a member of Kinder Morgan, Inc.’s Office of the Chairman and Board of Directors.

Ms. Dang joined Kinder Morgan in 2001 as Director of Investor Relations and has served as Vice President of Investor Relations, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. She joined the Office of the Chairman in 2014, became President in 2018 and CEO in 2023. 

Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Ms. Dang spent six years at Goldman Sachs working in the company's real estate investment area. She also worked in Washington, D.C., as a legislative assistant for Congressman Jack Fields and in Austin, Texas, for a venture capital firm.

Ms. Dang holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas A&M University.
 
Tom Martin
President

Mr. Martin is President for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

Mr. Martin joined Kinder Morgan in 2003 as Vice President of Optimization and Storage in the Texas Intrastate Pipeline Group in 2003. He was named President of the Texas Intrastate Pipeline Group in 2005, President of Natural Gas Pipelines in 2009 and KMI Executive Vice President in 2023. As Executive Vice President, Mr. Martin plays a key role in the company’s strategic and policy decisions, day-to-day management and capital allocation decisions.

Mr. Martin has over 25 years of commercial experience in the unregulated and regulated U.S. natural gas pipeline industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a registered Certified Public Accountant.


OPERATING OFFICERS

Anthony B. Ashley
President, CO2 & Energy Transition Ventures
Mr. Ashley is President of CO2 & Energy Transition Ventures for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. Kinder Morgan CO2 is the largest transporter of carbon dioxide in North America, delivering approximately 1.3 billion cubic feet per day for use in enhanced oil recovery projects. Mr. Ashley is responsible for overseeing the engineering, development, production and marketing operations for the CO2 source, pipeline and enhanced oil recovery assets owned by the company. The Energy Transition Ventures group is tasked with identifying, analyzing and pursuing commercial opportunities emerging from the low carbon energy transition.  

Mr. Ashley has more than 28 years of experience in the energy and banking industries. Until June 2022, he served as Vice President of Energy Transition Ventures for Kinder Morgan. Prior to that, between 2012-2021, he served as Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations at Kinder Morgan, overseeing the company’s financing and investing activities including treasury operations, insurance and risk management as well as investor outreach and communication. He had been Treasurer since 2013. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan in 2012, Mr. Ashley was with the El Paso Corporation and held a variety of finance and business development positions. Prior to receiving his master’s degree he worked at JP Morgan Chase.

Mr. Ashley holds a master’s degree from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and a bachelor’s degree in money, banking and finance from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
James Holland
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Holland is Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

As COO, Mr. Holland is enhancing Kinder Morgan’s focus on excellence in operations, with a particular emphasis on continuous improvement in Kinder Morgan’s best-in-class environment, social and governance (ESG) program.

Mr. Holland has been with Kinder Morgan or predecessor companies for more than 25 years and has held various positions in the Products Pipelines business. He was named Vice President of Logistics for the Products Pipelines group in 2004, Vice President of Technical Services in 2012 and President of Products Pipelines in 2017. Mr. Holland holds bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology from New Mexico State University.

Sital Mody
President, Natural Gas Pipelines
Mr. Mody is President of the Natural Gas Pipelines Group for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

Mr. Mody is responsible for all commercial and operational activities of the Kinder Morgan Natural Gas Pipelines Group, which encompasses approximately 70,000 miles of natural gas transmission pipelines and gathering lines, plus storage, treating and processing facilities. Kinder Morgan transports about 40 percent of the natural gas consumed in the United States.

Mr. Mody became president of the Midstream Group in 2018 after initially joining KMI as part of the El Paso acquisition.  He has 24 years of experience in the energy sector and holds an MBA from the University of Houston and a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
 
Dax Sanders
President, Products Pipelines

Mr. Sanders is President of Products Pipelines for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

His responsibilities include overseeing the nation’s largest independently owned refined petroleum products pipeline system, which transports refined petroleum products, renewable fuels, crude oil and condensate through approximately 9,000 miles of pipelines. The Products Pipelines business continues to be an industry leader in transporting and handling alternative fuels. Our Products Pipelines and Terminals business combined handle about one-third of the ethanol used in the United States.

Mr. Sanders joined Kinder Morgan in 2000. Before assuming his current role, he was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, where his responsibilities included leading Kinder Morgan’s acquisition and divestiture program. He has also held various roles in business development, finance, and investor relations, including serving as a Director of and Chief Financial Officer for Kinder Morgan Canada Limited, which was Kinder Morgan's publicly traded Canadian affiliate. He was named Vice President within the Corporate Development group in 2009 and became head of the Corporate Development group in 2013. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, he was in the analyst and associate program at Enron Corporation.

Mr. Sanders holds a master's degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School and a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. 

John W. Schlosser
President, Terminals

Mr. Schlosser is President of Terminals for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

As President of Terminals for Kinder Morgan, Mr. Schlosser oversees the largest independent network of liquids and bulk terminals in North America. Kinder Morgan's terminals have approximately 147 million barrels of liquids capacity and handle about 65 million tons of bulk materials annually. The company’s terminals store and handle petroleum products, chemicals and other products. Additionally, the Terminals business owns Jones Act product tankers that are engaged in the marine transportation of crude oil, condensate and refined products in the United States.

Mr. Schlosser joined Kinder Morgan in 2001 as Vice President of Sales and Business Development and was named President of Terminals in 2013. Mr. Schlosser has more than 30 years of experience in commodity transportation and logistics, business development and sales, sales management and operations. He previously worked for GATX, CSX Transportation, Sealand and Consolidated Freightways.

Mr. Schlosser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in science from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is a past chairman and member of the Houston Chapter’s American Diabetes Association. He also serves on the board of directors for the Greater Houston Port Bureau.


CORPORATE OFFICERS

Patrick Bourgoyne
Vice President, Internal Audit

Mr. Bourgoyne is Vice President, Internal Audit, of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

Mr. Bourgoyne is responsible for all internal audit activities, testing and monitoring Kinder Morgan's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, administering the company's confidential ethics hotline, and coordinating audit practices and procedures with Kinder Morgan’s external auditor.

Mr. Bourgoyne joined Kinder Morgan in 2004 as Manager in the Internal Audit department. He became Director in 2006 and Vice President in 2010. Mr. Bourgoyne has more than 16 years of internal audit experience. Prior to his tenure at Kinder Morgan, he was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche and a Manager at Arthur Andersen in the Internal Audit and Risk Consulting practices.

Mr. Bourgoyne holds both a bachelor's degree in management and a master's degree in business administration from Louisiana State University. Mr. Bourgoyne is also a graduate of the LSU Center for Internal Audit. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
 

Catherine Callaway James
Vice President and General Counsel

Ms. James is the Vice President and General Counsel of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

Ms. James has 27 years of experience practicing law in the energy sector. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, she served as General Counsel of Dynegy from 2011 until Vistra acquired Dynegy in 2018. Ms. James also served as General Counsel for NRG Gulf Coast and Reliant Energy. Prior to NRG, she held key legal roles at Calpine Corporation, The Coastal Corporation and Chevron.

Ms. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.

David W. Conover
Vice President, Government Relations and Communications

Mr. Conover is Vice President of Government Relations and Communications for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s government and community relations activities and managing external and internal communications.

Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Mr. Conover was Managing Director of Grayling USA’s Washington, D.C. office, where he also led the energy, environment and sustainability practice. His government service was at the U.S. Department of Energy and the United States Senate, and he held senior positions at CH2M HILL and the Bipartisan Policy Center.

Mr. Conover holds a J.D. cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of Virginia.

Chris Graeter
Vice President and Treasurer
Mr. Graeter is Vice President and Treasurer for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. He has extensive experience in the banking and energy industries and is responsible for managing Kinder Morgan’s financing activities and overseeing its treasury operations, including risk management.

Mr. Graeter joined Kinder Morgan in 2013 as Director of Finance and served as Vice President of Finance and Risk Management from 2018 until assuming his current role in 2021. Prior to Kinder Morgan, he was with Copano Energy and held various finance positions. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University. 
 
Kevin Grahmann
Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Grahmann is Vice President of Corporate Development for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

His responsibilities include leading Kinder Morgan's acquisition and divestiture program, including originating, structuring and negotiating corporate transactions. Mr. Grahmann joined Kinder Morgan’s Corporate Development group in 2012. He was named a Vice President within the Corporate Development group in 2017 and became head of the Corporate Development group in 2020. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, he served in various business development and corporate development roles at El Paso Corporation and Exterran, Inc. He previously worked at J.P. Morgan in investment banking.

Mr. Grahmann holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rice University.

Mark Huse
Vice President and CIO

Mr. Huse is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. He is responsible for the Information Technology infrastructure, systems and applications used to support business units and personnel across the Kinder Morgan family of companies.

Mr. Huse joined the company in 1989 and has held various positions in the Information Technology area. Prior to being named Chief Information Officer in 2013, he was Vice President of Business Systems and was responsible for all business software systems at Kinder Morgan. Mr. Huse received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Texas A&M University.

Eric McCord
Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. McCord is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Secretary of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. His responsibilities include corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and overseeing legal support for Kinder Morgan’s Terminals, Products Pipelines, CO2 and Energy Transition Ventures business segments in addition to the financial reporting, corporate finance, treasury and procurement organizations.  

Mr. McCord joined Kinder Morgan in 2012 as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary and served as Vice President, Managing Counsel and Assistant Secretary from 2019 until assuming his current role in 2023. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, he served as a corporate and securities attorney at Bracewell LLP for 10 years.

Mr. McCord holds a BA from Southern Methodist University and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University.  
David P. Michels
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Michels is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. In this role, Mr. Michels directs the company’s overall financial strategy while overseeing the firm’s treasury, tax, accounting, financial reporting, investor relations and financial planning functions.

Mr. Michels joined Kinder Morgan in 2012 as Vice President of Finance. He was named Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations in 2013, served as CFO of El Paso Pipeline Partners in 2013 and 2014, and was named CFO of Kinder Morgan in 2018.

Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Mr. Michels worked at Barclays and Lehman Brothers in energy investment banking. During this time, he advised public and private companies on capital formation, mergers, acquisitions and corporate strategy. 

Mr. Michels holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jordan H. Mintz
Vice President and Chief Tax Officer

Mr. Mintz is Vice President and Chief Tax Officer of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

Mr. Mintz joined Kinder Morgan in June of 2006 and oversees administration of the corporate and partnership tax planning, compliance and reporting functions for the company.

Prior to joining Kinder Morgan in 2006, Mr. Mintz served as Senior Vice President - Tax at Centex Corporation, a Fortune 250 homebuilder and financial services company. In addition, he served as Managing Director - Corporate Tax at Enron Corporation, Tax Partner at Bracewell LLP and Senior Tax Attorney at Exxon Corporation.

Mr. Mintz holds an LLM from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael J. Pitta
Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
Michael J. Pitta is Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

Mr. Pitta’s responsibilities include the various disciplines within HR and IT and an array of functions within Administration. He was named Vice President of Human Resources, Information Technology and Administration in February 2024. Mr. Pitta served as Vice President, Human Resources of Kinder Morgan from January 2023 until February 2024. Over the course of his 19-year career with KMI, Mr. Pitta also served as Vice President of EHS from 2020 to 2023, Vice President of Operations for KMI’s Products Pipelines group from 2019 to 2020 and Vice President of EHS for our Terminals group from 2012 to 2019.

Mr. Pitta holds a bachelor's degree in engineering geology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Irvine.
 
Matthew J. Wojtalewicz
Vice President and Controller

Mr. Wojtalewicz is Vice President and Controller of Kinder Morgan, Inc., one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

His responsibilities include overseeing the accounting and financial reporting functions for all Kinder Morgan companies. Mr. Wojtalewicz joined Kinder Morgan in 2005 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility within the company, including Vice President of Technical Accounting and Vice President of Natural Gas Accounting. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan he was an audit manager for Deloitte.

Mr. Wojtalewicz holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
