 Kinder Morgan is one of the largest natural gas transporters and storage operators in the United States. We own and operate approximately 24,000 miles of gas pipelines in the Rocky Mountains, the Midwest and Texas. We also have significant working gas storage capacity.
Key assets in this business segment include the Texas Intrastate Pipeline Group (Texas is the largest producer and consumer of natural gas in the United States), Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (which serves the high-demand Chicago market) and the Rockies Express Pipeline (which currently transports natural gas from northwestern Colorado to eastern Ohio).
