Kinder Morgan personnel regularly contact local emergency responders to discuss operations and to review emergency response plans. In addition, Kinder Morgan partners with other operators to sponsor pipeline safety meetings for government and safety officials working in Kinder Morgan communities. Kinder Morgan actively promotes the use of the “Pipeline Emergencies Training Program" developed by the National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) and the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). Click here to take the free online training.
