David W. Conover

David Conover Mr. Conover is Vice President of Government Relations and Communications for Kinder Morgan, one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s government and community relations activities and managing external and internal communications.

Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Mr. Conover was Managing Director of Grayling USA’s Washington, D.C. office, where he also led the energy, environment and sustainability practice. His government service was at the U.S. Department of Energy and the United States Senate, and he held senior positions at CH2M HILL and the Bipartisan Policy Center.

Mr. Conover holds a J.D. cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of Virginia.

Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates 83,000 miles of pipelines and 147 terminals. The company's pipelines transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil and its terminals store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel.
