Utica Marcellus Texas Pipeline Open Season
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. proposes to develop a Y-grade natural gas liquids (NGLs) pipeline, to be known as the Utica Marcellus Texas Pipeline (the “Y-Grade Pipeline”), for the purpose of transporting Y-Grade NGLs from the Utica and Marcellus Shales to the Texas Gulf Coast. The project will involve converting approximately 1,005 miles of Kinder Morgan’s 24- and 26-inch Tennessee Gas Pipeline system, currently in natural gas service to NGL service, extending from Mercer, Pennsylvania to Natchitoches, Louisiana and the construction of approximately 220 miles of new pipeline, including a 22 mile lateral from Harrison County, Ohio, to extend the Y-Grade Pipeline from Natchitoches, Louisiana to a proposed Kinder Morgan joint venture fractionation facility with Targa which has existing facilities at Mont Belvieu, Texas.
The open season begins on Nov. 11, 2013, and will close at 5 p.m. CST on Feb 28, 2014. For specific details about the open season, please contact Chris Kral, Vice President of NGLs, at (713) 369-9869, or at Chris_Kral@kindermorgan.com
