Kinder Morgan

Kinder Morgan is the largest independent transporter of refined petroleum products in North America. We transport over 2 million barrels per day of gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, natural gas liquids and other fuels through more than 8,000 miles of pipelines. We also have approximately 50 liquids terminals in this business segment that store fuels and offer blending services for ethanol and other products.

Additionally, our Products Pipelines business has become an industry leader in transporting alternative fuels. In 2008, we became the first company to transport ethanol through a pipeline for commercial use. We are moving batches of denatured ethanol along with gasoline shipments through our Central Florida Pipeline from Tampa to Orlando. We also have begun transporting biodiesel through a portion of our Plantation pipeline system.

Key assets include our Pacific operations (serving California and neighboring western states), the Plantation and Central Florida pipelines (serving the Southeast), the Cochin Pipeline (transporting natural gas liquids in three Canadian provinces and seven northern states) and liquids terminals located in the West and Southeast.
