REX – East is a 638-mile pipeline from Audrain County, Missouri, to Monroe County, Ohio. On April 30, 2007, Rockies Express Pipeline filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for approval of the REX – East portion of the project. Construction activities on REX-East are now underway. A targeted in-service date to Lebanon, Ohio is on schedule for spring 2009. Full in-service on REX-East to Clarington, Ohio is targeted for the fall of 2009.
REX – East consists of the following facilities:
- Approximately 638 miles of 42-inch diameter pipe from Audrain County, Mo., to Monroe County, Ohio.
- Compressor facilities along the REX — East pipeline route at the following locations:
- Audrain County, Mo. (near Mexico)
- Christian County, Ill. (near Blue Mound)
- Putnam County, Ind. (near Bainbridge)
- Warren County, Ohio (near Hamilton )
- Muskingum County, Ohio (near Chandlersville)
- Compressor facilities along the western portions of the REX pipeline system at the following locations:
- Carbon County, Wyo. (near Arlington)
- Phelps County, Neb. (near Bertrand)
