The first stage of a long-term vision to expand the Trans Mountain pipeline to meet the needs of our customers.

TMX - Anchor Loop Project Update: January 2010

Construction of the Anchor Loop is now complete. As of October 30, 2008 the Anchor Loop was placed into service. Environmental restoration has been completed on both the Jasper and the Mount Robson sections of the pipeline. Post-construction monitoring will continue for several years to come as well as ongoing right-of-way maintenance which will include weed management, minor seeding and planting in select areas.
