is President of Products Pipelines for Kinder Morgan, the largest midstream and the third largest energy company (based on combined enterprise value) in North America. The Kinder Morgan family of companies include Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI), Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP), Kinder Morgan Management, LLC (NYSE: KMR) and El Paso Pipeline Partners (NYSE: EPB).

Mr. Bannigan joined Kinder Morgan as President of Products Pipelines in 1999. His responsibilities include overseeing the nation's largest independently owned refined petroleum products pipeline system, which transports approximately 2 million barrels of gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel and natural gas liquids per day through a network of more than 8,000 miles of pipelines.

Prior to Kinder Morgan, Mr. Bannigan was a lawyer with Exxon Corporation. In 1985, he joined Plantation Pipe Line Company as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In 1998 he became President and CEO of Plantation Pipe Line Company, positions he still holds. KMP owns 51percent of and operates Plantation.

Mr. Bannigan holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a J.D. degree from Loyola University.

Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates approximately 80,000 miles of pipelines and 180 terminals. The company's pipelines transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil and its terminals store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel. Combined, Kinder Morgan has an enterprise value of approximately $115 billion.
