Jeffrey R. Armstrongis President of Terminals of Kinder Morgan, one of the largest pipeline transportation and energy storage companies in North America. The Kinder Morgan companies include Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI), Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP) and Kinder Morgan Management, LLC (NYSE: KMR). Mr. Armstrong oversees the largest independent network of liquids and bulk terminals in North America. In 2011, the facilities in Kinder Morgan's terminals business segment are expected to handle more than 100 million tons of bulk materials and have throughput of over 645 million barrels of refined petroleum products and other liquids. Mr. Armstrong joined Kinder Morgan in 2001, following KMP's purchase of the U.S. pipeline and terminal assets of the GATX Corporation, where he spent seven years working as General Manager of its East Coast Operations. He previously worked in the Marine tanker industry for Maritime Overseas Corp. Mr. Armstrong holds a bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame. Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates more than 38,000 miles of pipelines that transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil; and approximately 180 terminals that store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel. Kinder Morgan, Inc. owns the general partner interest of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners. Kinder Morgan Management is a limited liability company and its only significant assets are the partnership units it owns in KMP.
