David D. Kinderis Vice President, Corporate Development, Treasurer and Investor Relations for Kinder Morgan, one of the largest pipeline transportation and energy storage companies in North America. The Kinder Morgan companies include Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI), Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP) and Kinder Morgan Management, LLC (NYSE: KMR). Mr. Kinder’s responsibilities include leading Kinder Morgan’s acquisition and divestiture program. The company has completed transactions totaling over $30 billion since 1997. As Treasurer, Mr. Kinder is involved in managing the company's financing and investing activities. He also heads the Investor Relations department, which creates and maintains effective relationships with members of the investment community. Mr. Kinder joined Kinder Morgan as Manager of Corporate Development in 1999. He was named Vice President of Corporate Development in 2002, Treasurer in 2005 and head of Investor Relations in 2009. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan he was in the analyst and associate program at Enron Corporation. Mr. Kinder graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas Christian University. He currently serves on the board of Kids' Meals, Inc. Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates more than 38,000 miles of pipelines that transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil; and approximately 180 terminals that store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel. Kinder Morgan, Inc. owns the general partner interest of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners. Kinder Morgan Management is a limited liability company and its only significant assets are the partnership units it owns in KMP. Combined, Kinder Morgan has an enterprise value of approximately $65 billion. |
